Batter Up: Nightmare Mansion

Submission for the 2025 Lil Guy Game Polishing Jam

Dowloadable version is recommended as it's more stable

Play as Dan the Dingo, a kid who had his haloween candies stolen by prankster ghosts, luckily he can defend himself with his baseball skills!

Your objective is to escape their mansion full of monsters and traps, while trying to get the most candies back you can!

This game is a spin-off to my other submission  Batter Up that has more rhythm focused gameplay, which I also want update sometime soon with more songs and a expanded story!

Controls

• Space: Jump,
• X: Spin Dash attack
• P: Pause

Enemies

1. Grave-Imp: Can't be jumped on
2. Fancy Skeleton: They get scared when you get near them
3. Flying Pumpking: Act as platforms you can bounce off, so avoid using your dash on them or you'll probably fall. 
4. Spider: Runs in your direction

• Unlimited checkpoint system
• 4 Enemy types
• 1 Level

Due to time it's not very polished (gameplay is specially lacking)  so it's more of a batter up themed platformer experiment I had, but I want to give it some more updates too  :3

• Loading Screen is missing
• No options Menu
• Weird jump Physics
• No Sound Effects
